A TOTAL of 94 people signed two petitions and 356 people
wrote individual letters to Crewe and Nantwich Borough Planning Officer,
Paul Ancell. At a meeting of the Development Control Panel on July
27, 2004, he recommended refusal of the application to build apartments on
the walled garden. The Panel agreed to his recommendation with just two
Councillors voting against refusal.
These were on top of a petition signed by
more than 400
people when members of the campaign committee spent four hours in Nantwich
Square.

the public. Write a letter to the editors of the local papers expressing
your support.
